    Angelote,
Come join us on the non-drinking thread too. Do you thnk you need help with the detox? Figuring how to get the drugs/alcohol out of your system safely, I thnk, will be key first step. Can you talk with your doctor???

I am a recovering opiates and beer drinker clean date 1/12/08,
after a 38 years abuse. I stopped smoking Camels 11/29/09.
There are days that I feel like saying I can't handle this any
longer. Yes I pray to my Higher Power and yes that helps
but it is up to me not to pick up and to keep doing the foot
work to stay clean. I started my recovery In Pitts Pa went
into a 3/4 housing for drugs and alcohol my first 14 months.
I had to make a foundation for my new way of life. I put
all my old friends and life style behind me.

Begin with getting rid of anything from your house that forces you take alcohol and cocaine. Try to limit alcohol consumption.

I would recommend finding a healthier addiction such as exercise or cycling or hiking. Especially during the times when you would normally do coke or drink.
